(Sofia, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Mr. Vladimir Dokov, CEO of EGT and EGT Digital, granted an interview to SoloAzar in which he commented the highlights of the firm for 2023 and strategies and projects for 2024. “I can say that 2023 was very successful for EGT in every aspect”, he said.

What have been the highlights of 2023? (In terms of events, trade shows, products, technologies, etc).

I can say that 2023 was very successful for EGT in every aspect. We participated in a number of exhibitions where we captivated visitors with both our attractive stands and our products, which received very positive feedback. We made numerous installations, a big part of which of our Bell Link jackpot. It has established itself as an absolute bestseller everywhere it has a presence, and I believe it will continue to conquer new markets in 2024.

Our iGaming company EGT Digital also recorded a very fruitful year, during which it consolidated its position as one of the preferred iGaming providers. We significantly enriched our portfolio of in-house developed slot games, while at the same time continued to develop the online betting platform X-Nave. We also have closed a lot of deals and entered a number of new markets, with our products currently being available in over 40 countries worldwide and their number is constantly increasing. 

What are the latest trends in the games of chance industry? How is the firm positioned in order to take advantage of those trends during 2024?

I probably won't surprise you by saying that perhaps the trend that will have the biggest impact on our industry in 2024 will be the use of artificial intelligence. For several years now, its increasing application in the development of a large part of the gaming products has been observed. Of course, we are also actively implementing AI in our new product solutions.

What are the expectations for the games of chance industry in 2024? (regarding new regulations, new technologies, etc)

I think that 2024 will be another dynamic and interesting year, filled with many challenges of a different nature. I expect that we will be able to cope with them as always thanks to our innovative products at competitive prices, as well as the 360-degree production cycle, through which we ourselves manufacture the largest part of the components for EGT machines, thus giving us great freedom and flexibility in regard to the fulfillment of our customers' orders.

I also believe that the upward development of online gaming will continue in 2024 and EGT Digital's product portfolio, covering the entire iGaming spectrum, will be able to take advantage of all the new opportunities that next year will present.

What strategies and projects do you have for next year? (regarding new product releases, new markets, etc)

EGT's products and services currently have presence in more than 100 markets around the world and among our main goals for the next year will be the penetration in more new jurisdictions, mostly in Asia and Africa.

We will also focus on further development of our iGaming portfolio and solidifying our leading positions in this sector as well.
